Mexico's central bank cuts benchmark rate to 7.25%

MEXICO CITY, Dec 19 (Reuters) - The five-member board of Mexico’s central bank on Thursday voted 4 to 1 to cut its benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to 7.25%, as expected, citing softening headline inflation and slack in the economy. (Reporting by Anthony Esposito Editing by Dave Graham)
