Pemex CEO says introduction of new wells will boost production

MEXICO CITY, Sept 24 (Reuters) - The chief executive of Mexican state oil firm Pemex said production will rise to 1.778 million barrels per day in December, helped by extractions from new wells.

Speaking during President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador’s regular news conference, Pemex Chief Executive Octavio Romero said both production and reserves will increase during the administration. (Reporting by Adriana Barrera and Ana Isabel Martinez; Writing by Julia Love; Editing by Jan Harvey)
