South Africa's Standard Bank eyes new African markets

JOHANNESBURG, Aug 8 (Reuters) - South Africa’s Standard Bank the bank could look at entering new markets in Africa, Chief Executive Sim Tshabalala said on Thursday, as the bank’s focus on the continent continues to pay off.

“Acquisitions are also a possibility,” Tshabalala added in his comments while presenting the bank’s half-year results. (Reporting by Emma Rumney Editing by David Goodman)
