US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-S&P dips as investors eye key market level

NEW YORK, March 5 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 dipped on Tuesday as investors digested positive retailer earnings and economic data but also eyed a key resistance level for the benchmark index after the market’s strong run.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 13.02 points, or 0.05 percent, to 25,806.63, the S&P 500 lost 3.16 points, or 0.11 percent, to 2,789.65 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.21 points, or 0.02 percent, to 7,576.36. (Reporting by Lewis Krauskopf Editing by Chris Reese)
